World Alzheimer’s Day 2021

September 21, 2021 is World Alzheimer’s Day. Alzheimer’s disease continues to represent a major global health burden with few, if any, therapeutic options available.

At GraySpace Therapeutics, we are leading the way with a completely new approach for the treatment of Alzheimer’s. This approach capitalizes on a metabolic plasmalogen lipid deficiency present in Alzheimer’s patients that impairs the process of neurotransmission and ultimately leads to memory loss and dementia. By engineering proprietary lipid precursors that the body can use to restore the deficiency and neuronal functionality, our mission is to not only treat, but possibly prevent, the onset of Alzheimer’s disease altogether.
